ReelSpirit DC to screen Eve’s Fire
A spiritual cinema group in Northern Virginia will be screening Eve’s Fire on October 29 at 8 PM at Unity of Fairfax in Oakton. Admission is $10 and tickets can be ordered in advance through www.reelspiritdc.com. Kirsten D’Andrea Hollander, co-director of the evocumentary, will begin the evening with an invocation and will follow the film with a deepening into what was evoked by the screening. A few of the women of Eve’s Fire may be present for the follow-up discussion.
Eve’s Fire Screened at Frederick Festival of Film
Eve’s Fire first film festival screening took place on September 18th at the Frederick Festival of Film. After the screening Beckie wrote, “I wish you all could have been at the festival for the screening of Eve's Fire! The Cultural Arts Center in Frederick is an intimate space and very appropriate for your evocumentary.” Women gathered with their friends and came in small groups to the screening. Dena introduced the film and Beckie and Dena answered viewer’s questions and handed out information about upcoming Temple Community events.
