The Power of the Circle
Dangerous Old Women encourages you to gather in small groups in your home to watch Eve’s Fire and then share with one another what is evoked. This is a powerful way to experience the energy of the film. One recent such gathering in July at Kirsten’s home brought together women who had never met each other and during the sharing following the film, the common ground of all women’s experience was expressed and felt. By the end of the afternoon, women who had just met one another were chatting like good friends and some were planning to take it forward and host a gathering in their homes. The age-old power of women telling women spreads the Fire!
Upcoming Teleconference Calls
Stay tuned for upcoming teleconference calls for people who have viewed Eve’s Fire to share their experiences and ask questions of Co-Directors Sheila Foster and Kirsten D’Andrea Hollander. There will be a limited enrollment for the calls, so be sure to register early. This will be a way to experience the synergy of a sharing circle and to connect with Sheila and Kirsten and other viewers from your own home. We look forward to meeting with you!

Dangerous Old Women Move to the Big City
After a few weeks of paring down and packing down, Dangerous Old Women Productions’ office moved from Mt Airy to Baltimore. It has truly been a transformational experience of letting go of things that were saved from the early years of DOW and from the creation of Eve’s Fire and the Meditation CDs to make room for whatever is to come forth. The office and editing suite are now unpacked, reconfigured, and up and running!
The Snake is at Naropa
Tuesdays in June, Sheila led a class called Woman Meets Snake: Initiation into the Mysteries at Naropa University in Boulder. The class offers discussion and deepening experiences that address kundalini, a feminine paradigm of the initiatory journey, and the archetypes of the Mother, Amazon, Lover, Mystic & Queen as portals to Sacred Feminine initiation and spiritual awakening. Sheila notes that the longing for the Sacred Feminine was very palpable in the class. She enjoyed “beginning at the beginning” with the women at Naropa.
Eve’s Fire screened at Cedarhurst Unitarian Universalists
On a warm spring evening in April, Eve’s Fire was screened at Cedarhurst Unitarian Universalists in Finksburg, Maryland. Kirsten introduced the film sharing about the origins of the film and the School for Women Healers.
