Where has Eve’s Fire been seen?
Released only three months ago, Eve’s Fire, has served as a catalyst for women and men to gather in private homes, a public library, a Jungian group, a Rabbi’s training retreat, a writing workshop, two holistic centers and an art center. Kirsten and Sheila have been facilitating talkbacks with eager audiences from 20 up to 200 people.
What are people talking about after seeing Eve’s Fire?
Eve's Fire initiates dialogue concerning human courage. Post-screening women are saying that they now know they are not crazy or alone. Men are sharing how they recognize their own issues, as well as how they want the women in their lives to see Eve’s Fire. Folks are so excited that they can purchase a copy for under $30.00 and continue to work with what is evoked for them during their initial screening. This has been our intention from the get-go: that the film would serve as a catalyst for people to gather and become an accessible tool to help reveal the sacredness of everyday life.
What are people RAVING about after seeing Eve’s Fire?
After taking in Eve’s Fire, people want to know how they can speak from their own place of Truth or Wisdom. When they experience the two Meditations from a Women’s Mystery School CDs created by Sheila and Kirsten, they see how they can begin to access their inner wisdom and bring it forth into their lives! It’s a profound realization that anyone can do this! And after screenings, people feel a longing bubbling up and are not quite sure what to do with it. People are discovering that the meditation CDs offer a container for them to explore any feelings or longings that have come up after watching the film.
How can I fit the Meditation CDs into my busy life?
When I wake up at 4:30 AM and have difficulty going back to sleep, I lie in bed and listen to two to three tracks from one of the Meditations CDs and then I find that I can go back to sleep. However, I’m not just using the CDs as a sleeping aid. When I’m listening to the CDs, I ask my inner archetypes for help in areas of my life where I have concerns. And when I wake up in the morning, I feel different. Sometimes I feel the difference when I’m standing in the shower. I just feel better, more peaceful, less in my mind - more with the "me" inside.

How can I show Eve’s Fire in my home?
Report from the "bridge call" on Jan. 8th
Members from the School for Women Healers gathered for an hour on a bridge conference call on Thursday evening Jan 8th in order to talk with Sheila and Kirsten about facilitating a private showing of Eve’s Fire in their home or healing center. Kirsten emphasized the importance of "standing tall" when being a priestess/presenter. A woman brought up the vulnerability of the priestess/presenter if the woman is also in the film. Sheila mentioned how there is always someone who wants to "kill" the film with negative criticisms because with all the Light that the film presents, shadow gets stirred up, too. She recommended to just not take it personally and to instead suggest that people pray to be led to the next step to take in their own lives after watching Eve’s Fire. The bridge call was enthusiastically received. Stay tuned for information about the next bridge call. –Beckie
Will Eve’s Fire be shown in a theater?
Eve’s Fire will be screened at the AFI Silver Theater in Silver Spring, Maryland on February 3rd in a Mid-Atlantic Regional Showcase Trio of Shorts. The 9:30PM screening of Eve’s Fire will be preceded by a reception beginning at 8 o’clock. Following the screening, there will be a question and answer session with Kirsten.
